DWDM Wave Service
Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) combines multiple optical signals at different wavelengths on the same fiber optic cable. Through this process, the operator is able to increase bandwidth capacity on an existing fiber optic network backbone.
The EAGLE‑Net primary network peering sites, and many of the secondary aggregation sites, on EAGLE‑Net network are capable of supporting inter-location DWDM Wave Service from 1 Gbps up to 10 Gbps DWDM wave transport capacities.
