EAGLE-Net Network Map
Map published November 15, 2013
Below is a map showing the construction of the EAGLE‑Net network across the state of Colorado. The schedule and routes shown are the best estimates at this time and are subject to change based on many factors including site surveying, engineering design, bidding and procurement, environmental analysis, and permitting.
This map shows the Colorado community anchor institution locations and planned network routes, with estimated completion timeframes. This map will be updated monthly as construction progresses and routes on the network are connected.

How was the construction schedule determined?
Many factors were used to determine the construction schedule. These include items such as difficulty of construction, weather, environmental, and permitting considerations.
Is the construction schedule final or are the dates subject to change?
The schedule is the best estimate at this time and the dates are subject to change. We will be posting an updated map and schedule on the web site on a monthly basis.
If my location is not scheduled until late in the project does that mean there won’t be any construction until that time?
No. Many routes, due to the amount of and/or difficulty of construction will take more than a year to build. However, even if there is no physical construction activity going on, there are still planning activities that are in process. These activities include items such as site surveying, engineering design, bidding and procurement, environmental analysis, and permitting.
Is there something a CAI can do to move a site up on the schedule?
All the routes are currently at some level of engineering and design. With this and ongoing bidding and procurement processes, if there are opportunities to move sites up on the schedule, we will do so and reflect that on the monthly web site updated map and schedule.
